When : August 5th
Where : Edward's Mansion
These days at his town house had lead to some confessions on both their parts. He wanted to change, or at least he said he wanted too. Not himself of course, he was a leader and she knew that was the most important role in his life. However, he was also a man. Despite her blindness to his actual love for her, he had never said so, nor made any real gestures to prove this love. Except, when she'd almost left him. His mind had raced as had his breathing. If she were leave, would he have really encased her in a box to be his forever? Would ever let another man touch her?
Now, back into the cruel world they called civilization, she sat at the opposite end of the dinner table of his large home. His home was glamourous and mansion sized, but he never called it like so. Her hair nearly curled out, her eyes set onto the plate of food in front of her. During this moment, she felt as if he had just planned out their entire life.
"You'll have the baby at the facility. We don't know if it might have any abilities." She dropped her fork at this news, then settled her hands into her lap. She'd been reviewed already by one of the doctor's. Almost four months and she hadn't known, most likely due to the weight loss. She was in amazement the baby had survived - but then again, maybe that was its ability. She lost hers to take life away, and now the child was surviving on its own.
"No, I won't have it there." she said suddenly, looking over to him. "I run those doctors, and I know what they're like." she added all of a sudden. He'd tossed his napkin down, and she knew she'd upset him. "I would simply.. rather have the baby at home."
He seemed a bit less upset at her suggestion. It would indeed be more private for them. He had yet to even acknowledge publically that the child was his. The agents had whispered amongst themselves, and the news had spread. They were calling her a sleeper, and still he said nothing.
"Our child is going to be a bastard." she said softly, and it caused him to stand. He moved behind her, his fingers running across her skin. His right hand made its way down to her chest, resting between her breasts. He placed an unusually soft kiss to her neck, after brushing away her hair to the opposite side. Another kiss pressed to her neck, and his right hand slide beneath the top of her dress, grasping softly at her breast.
"Isla.. If I tell you to have the baby at the facility, you will. I think you're getting a little too strong minded these last days." he whispered against her ear. He then took a step over, grabbing her by the arm and pulling her up to her feet. She gasped out of a fear, but quickly bit down onto her tongue.
"But I.. I don't have an ability anymore." she whispered, keeping her eyes off his. His hand moved up to her chin, gripping it just a bit roughly for her to look up at him. "Don't frustrate me, Isla. You failed me, you owe me." The expression in her eyes suddenly changed as he brought up her failure. He was all too aware of the details, and his words were hurtful.
"I didn't mean.." she trailed off quickly, as he spun her arm. His left hand pulling down one of the straps of her dress, pushing her slightly over the table as his lips touched her neck roughly, and his right hand pulled up her dress - just enough.
