Happy? If that’s what you would call it. There was no other word that could be described. Trapped wouldn’t be correct either. Tokyo was stuck between a rock and a hard place. There was no denying she wished to be with her friends – friends she had barely become to know before she had been whisked away each time. Once, she was captured. Then she was flown away to Japan to the city that she received her name from. She had managed to escape once, and made it to a lovely home surrounded by Cherry Blossoms. For weeks she stayed here, rested here – until she asked for too much. She wanted her lover free, she wanted her friends – a normal life if that was at all possible.
Now, she stood on the patio with her daughter; Sakura, held ever so gently in her arms. Her small head resting against her mother’s shoulder, dark hair gripped between her tiny fingers for a familiar touch. The little baby breathed in her mother’s scent, just as her husband breathed her in. His arms wrapped around her stomach, rubbing it but he could no longer feel the baby inside. He had longed to feel her kick, but she had done so only once for me. Luckily, she seemed perfectly well considering all the testing her mother had gone through, the experimental drugs, the fighting and bruising, the pain and tough love – all this stress on her body had kept her well. She was as calm as a kitten. She had earned the name Sakura from the location of her birth – Just below a Cherry Blossom Tree where Phillipe had helped her give birth.
As her new husband held her, she could still feel his heart beating, the heat from his body radiating into her own. They wanted to test her – though more kindly this time around. She had slept with three men and as a result she had learned their ability. Through sexual emotion, Tokyo was able to control whatever ability it is she desired; flight, fire & heat & steam, ice & water, speed. One thing she had learnt however, that had not been the result of a series of sexual exercises was her telekinesis. She still could not understand where this ability had come from, but luckily no one had brought it up. Phillipe was still in Surrey - England watching over her friends. He was the only one that had seen. And as Dae, she had not been seen in days since Tokyo had taken a good round on her face.
The subject of wether or not they should leave, to hide away forever from the world and live a normal life had crossed their minds. Australia had seemed like a good idea. But as of today, thoughts had been plaguing Tokyo. Christian liked this job of his, where he could control every aspect. He was almost management at this point, having brought in such a strong asset to the company. Tokyo, if she stayed, would arrange to him be just that – one of the bosses. He deserved to be, and if she was to be a puppet, she would certainly be his and none other’s. She wanted to shield their daughter from it all too, but unfortunately that wouldn’t be possible for long. As of her birth, and even before, they were well aware she would develop strong abilities like her mother’s. Sakura was the first of her kind. She was a combination of opposite abilities – the fact that she was conceived at all was a miracle.
Tokyo finally sighed out, Christian’s lips trailing down her neck as she watched the sunset in front of them. They had a penthouse suite apartment on the top floor of a luxury building. They had a baby room colored and filled just as she had asked. They had beautiful flooring, furniture and money would never again be a problem. She didn’t want anymore worries from this day. From this day on, she had turned.
“We’re staying.” Tokyo whispered to him. The grin on his lips was enough to prove her point that he wanted too. His small tug at her stomach was another sign, but the definite and blood signature of it all was the fire burning inside of him. One day without his ability would be the end of him. He hadn’t ever lived the sheltered life as she had. She had hidden from the world before – and he had burned it.
