Abilities

Seraphina's ability is an odd one. She cannot read minds or control people, but what she can do is protect herself. When her mind feels that her body may be in danger from physical abuse, such as glass shattering over herself, then whatever it is that is aimed towards her, transforms into dust in order to protect her physical being. Mind reader's cannot penetrate her mind due to this ability.

History : Seraphina grew up in a normal childhood. She has been unaware of her ability until this day - although, now that she is able to determine what is it she can do, she is now able to understand her past. One day when she was in the car with her parents, they were in an accident and hit by an oncoming vehicle. Seraphina escaped without a scratch, but both of her parents unfortunately died at the scene of the incident.

She was 19 at the time, and her ability had not emerged until then. There had never been a reason for it to be 'exposed' per say to the world. Because of the all the drama of the accident, she had not realized what had happened at the time. She is only now seeing what she can do, but has no intentions of helping anyone. She wishes to flee these people of 'The Black Circle' and live a normal life - which she is attempting to do despite the fact that Nicholas continues to find her.
